The Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre provides free preliminary advice on potential civil actions against the police including for:

• False Imprisonment
• Unlawful Detention and Loss of Liberty
• Data Protection Act/Misuse of Private Information claims
• Malicious Prosecution
• Tresspass to Property or Goods

While we are unable to provide representation or take your claim forward, following an appointment with a student adviser and lawyer with expertise in the field you will receive a letter of advice outlining the law, your legal position,  and the next steps you may wish to pursue in order to advance a claim.
