Profile
I completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology at the University of the West of England in 2018, followed by a Master of Research in the Social Sciences, where I explored how resilience is conceptualised among young people involved in the criminal justice system. After completing my studies, I gained experience across community, prison, and hospital settings, working with children, young people, and adults experiencing mental health difficulties and substance misuse.
I am currently a doctoral researcher at the Youth Resilience Unit. My PhD is a mixed-methods investigation examining the role of community sports programmes in supporting children and young people’s mental health and behaviour. I am supervised by Prof Jennifer Lau and Dr Francois van Loggerenberg.
