Enrolment

Induction
2–3 September 2026: PG Law Induction (1 weeks).
A detailed schedule will be available late summer The induction programme is designed to:
- welcome students onto their programme of study.
- meet the academic and professional services staff and fellow students on your programme.
- modules information and guidance.
- learn how to use QMplus online virtual learning.
- meet the Careers teams.
- intro to Library facilities.
- academic skills sessions.
2 September 2026: Student ID Card collection
- From AskQM, Lincoln’s Inn Fields campus, CCLS 3rd Floor.
Semester 1: 07 September – 11 December 2026
During this period, you will be attending module lectures, and tutorials (all modules are compulsory).
7-10 September 2026: Fundamentals of Law and Ethics (IPLC134) - taught twice daily (Intensive 4-day course).
11 September – 11 December 2026: Weekly teaching starts for the following modules:
- IPLC140 Trade Mark Law.
- IPLC141 Patent Law.
- IPLC132 Copyright and Design Law.
Please consult timetable when available.
8 October 2026: IPLC134/IPLC138 Fundamentals of Law and Ethics assessment (Multiple Choice Quiz element).
11 December 2026: Teaching ends.
14 December 2026 – 6 January 2027: Study Period (including Holiday Break).
Examination Period: 7-22 January 2027.
Resit Examination Period: 6 May – 4 June 2026.
