The new ICC Arbitration Rules entered into force on 1 June 2026, introducing significant changes to the ICC's procedural framework, including optional Terms of Reference, a new early determination mechanism, Highly Expedited Arbitration Provisions, and expanded arbitrator disclosure obligations.
The event opened with a presentation by an ICC representative on the key changes introduced by the 2026 Rules, followed by a moderated panel discussion offering critical and comparative perspectives from leading practitioners and academics in international arbitration.
