IP Alumni Chapter Launch and Alumni Reunion in London

As well as INTA 2026 Recap from CCLS alumna, Nicole Perez.

Published:

Last month we launched our new IP Alumni Chapter with a drinks reception in London. We planned it to coincide with the annual INTA event, which took place in the UK this year.

One of our alumna, Nicole Perez (IP Law LLM, 2022) who attended INTA and the Alumni Reunion posted this note about the visit: “This one will definitely stay with me for a long time. It brought back the same excitement of my very first INTA - all the way back to INTA Annual Meeting 2019 - but this year felt even more special, it was the very first INTA for Intellectique and also my first time returning to London since my LLM days.

Every year, we gather in a different city to talk about Intellectual Property. But for me, this year was about so much more: sharing a city that shaped such an important chapter of my life, reconnecting memories with the present, speaking about IP with incredible colleagues and friends, and embracing all the dreams and excitement that come with building something of your own.

One of the most beautiful parts of INTA is also what happens in between meetings: discovering new places with friends, walking around a city full of stories, laughing over coffee, dinners, tube rides, and conversations that somehow become memories way too quickly.

And now comes that very particular post-INTA feeling… returning home already missing the people you just spent days with, even though it feels like you saw them only a few hours ago. Thank you to everyone who stopped me to say they enjoyed the guide — a small gesture from a Latina who loves London as if it were her own home. And thank you to all the friends, colleagues, and connections who made this week unforgettable through your support, kindness, and endless conversations about Intellectual Property. Until next, See you in San Diego!”
