Climate Action Week is our annual flagship sustainability engagement event.
Queen Mary’s Climate Action Week is a chance for students, staff, and the wider community to come together to explore bold, creative, and collaborative responses to the climate crisis — through workshops, talks, and hands-on experiences that connect sustainability to every part of university life.
Previously Green Week, run alongside a November Sustainability Week, in 2024 we worked closely with Queen Mary Students’ Union to merge the two weeks. This resulted in the biggest sustainability-dedicated week run by the university so far. The 2026 iteration was the largest to date, bringing together over 450 staff, students, and local community members across more than 20 different events - from hands-on workshops to policy discussions. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a success!
Stay tuned for news on our next Climate Action Week.
